The tourist bit of the trip should be fine as there seems to be loads to see. We're staying near the Plaza Mayor. Can anyone please recommend a restaurant we could book a table at, from the UK, for 31/12/06 and some good bars to party at for the night? Hi,

We are travelling to Salamanca for New Years Eve and, after being totally disorganised last year, we're trying to plan where we could go.

The tourist bit of the trip should be fine as there seems to be loads to see. We're staying near the Plaza Mayor. Can anyone please recommend a restaurant we could book a table at, from the UK, for 31/12/06 and some good bars to party at for the night?

Any help or other tips for the trip would be greatly appreciated.
