| Limassol | Limassol in November Posted: Wed July 5, 2006 07:58 PM UTC
Hi everybody! I'll be in Limassol for business with a few colleagues in mid november for 5 days. We'll probably have the evenings free, and one free day. Can you please recommend things to do? I know the beach won't be an option at that time of the year but will the pubs and cafes still be busy? What are the best ones? Any ideas for day trips for our free day? I really appreciate all your help!

Yes, Limassol is busy through out the year. It's a normal city, not just a tourist place, so... Pubs and Cafes (the best ones are to be found in the "Enaerios" area) are busy too especially on Wednesday nights and weekends.
Daytrips... You can visit the Kolossi Castle and the Ancient Theatre of Kourion or drive up to the mountains to the village of Platres which is lovely. Both of them are about 45 minutes drive from Limassol. Enjoy your stay in Cyprus!
