Barbados Travel Forum

For anyone who has recently been/live in Barbados, how has the weather recently been? We're I live it has been mostly rainy, thunderstorms, of very cloudy/hazy for the entire day. Is the barbados weather similar and does the sun break though for a good amout of time? How do you think the weather will be early/mid auguest? I'm traveling there in auguest and I really hope I get good weather!!

In the last week I would say it's been a bit rainy and overcast.. But not every day or all day. Right now the sun is not fully out.. it's not blue skys but there are patches of it and it's not raining.. and there is a nice breeze going on at the moment as well.

August is Hurricane Season, so be prepared for a little rain and while we can't predict the weather anywhere on earth, come and have a great time (even if it rains)

Is barbados a good place to raise a family? how is the education and schools? which city is the best to live in? thanks so much.

Barbados is a great place to raise a family. Education system is excellent (99pct literacy rate). As for places to live, much depends on work/school/and where you want to spend your time.. at home or at work etc.

Are you planning to move here, or just thinking out loud??
