Dear all,
I'll be soon coming to live in Angola (Luanda), and, honestly, my knowledge of the place is very poor, apart for some historical/social/economical info. I would like to understand how it is the life there. Is it safe? can I take my girlfriend with me? what can we do after work? well...any info is welcome, as I am a bit worried about this. thanks OC |

It's as safe as most big cities - muggings occur but should be avoidable taking reasonable precautions; yes you can bring your girlfriend; plenty of bars & restaurants, reasonable beaches to go to at weekends (a little way out of town to get to the nice ones). Any other questions?

I am an Indian. Getting a job at angola. The comapny is giving me a shared accomodation. Pl inform me what will be my expense for fooding/ month alone.I dont drink nor smoke.
Pl suggest.
