| Nicosia | What to do ? Posted: Mon July 3, 2006 01:54 PM UTC
Hi all, I will be in Larnaca for 4 days and in Nicosia for 3 days starting 23rd July and as usual I have a few questions.
- What hotel would you recommend with good service in Nicosia (we are 2 adults and 2 children under 4 Years) - What would you recommend we do with the children in Nicosia ? - What family restaurants are good and what do you recommend ? - What clothing stores or shops are available in Nicosia or what are the main shopping districts ? Thanks guys, appreciate your help on this. Cheers |

There are three large hotels in Nicosia : The Hilton, The Hilton Park and the Holiday Inn. The Hilton is probably the best of the three (IMHO) and fairly centrally located. the Hilton Park is located further from the town centre, which might be good if you have young children. The Holiday Inn is located near the old town. The Tavernas are quite good, you will find them throught the city centre. If you're into fast food, there is a McDonald's right next from the Hilton Park.
Nicosia probably isn't the best place to shop for clothes, but you could try the shops in the Ledra Street (downtown) or Marks & Spencer in Strovolos-Dasoupolis (a suburb). have a nice trip, George
