I have been looking at the tickets online De Bahn. Can I buy the tickets online from the US. We will be traveling July 6th so the tickets can's be mailed. The site says the tickets can be printed.

I've booked online and printed out lots of tickets through bahn.de.You pay by credit card and you have to show the very same credit card to the conductor, together with the printed out ticket.There have never been any problems for me. Are you taking the train from Munich, since you mention bahn.de? If you're travelling in Italy only, check trenitalia.com
