Try to avoid Kosovo, try to go some other way! I am from Serbia and I would not suggest to go via Kosovo. That is my opinion... For more help find site of EESTEC LC Athens, it is a student organisation, and there are a lot of people that were comming in Serbia, ask them for advice...

Safety is not an issue in Kosovo for anyone travelling through the area. There are easy and regular bus connections from Skopje to Pristina from the main bus station. Journey time - 1 1/2 hour. Then a further 1 1/2 to Peje/Pec in western Kosovo, and from there up over the beautiful pass into Montenegro and to the border town of Rozaje.

I have lived in Kosovo for the last 3 years, and the only safety concern is the state of the roads! Having said that there are some safety issues for Kosovo Serbs in non-majority areas, but this is slowly improving

Hello,

Did you get a reply to your question? I did not see one on the
VirtualTourist website.

I'm asking because I intend to do the same thing and would like to find out as well.

Thanks and best wishes,
