I heard that I have to book to visit some places in Pompei,
(4 places, but I'm not sure which ones exactly are)

so, I visited their hompage 'ARETHUSA', but it seems like
they don't have english version.

do you know how to make reservations for that?

On the website's home page, click on "prenotazione e prevendite" at top left. This brings you to the "Servizio prenotazioni" page (reservations service). It lists the various events/sites for which you can make a reservation. The four for Pompei are listed on the bottom. Each of the four sites has different hours for visits.

Do you know which of the four you are interested in?

While I or other folks who contribute here could help you with the translations for each page, I wonder if you could ask your local hotel to make the reservations for you. One reason I suggest this is that the site says it will email you back a confirmation, but it will be in Italian, too.

Have you been to Pompei before? Just a thought, but it would literally take all day to see everything in Pompei which is open to you without a reservation.

The site is very large, much larger than most first time visitors imagine (inclding me).

As you told me, it would be better to make reservation through the accomodation than to make it myself.

I expected they would send me confirmation in English.
but in Italian, I don't have any choice but supporting from hotel..

this is my first time to visit Pompei, so I planed to spend all day long in Pompei. I just hope that the weather will be fine to walk... ;)
