Hi everyone
I would like to visit Batga during the Fish and Chip Festival. Has anyone ever been to the Festival. Love to hear what it is like. We only have time to spend 2 nights there, during the period 13 - 17 August. Can anyone tell me how to get a programme of events held during the festival so that we can choose the best nights to stay there? Also I'm having great difficulty finding hotels in Barga. I've found a double room B&B at hotel Tre Castelli in Gallicano for 70 Euro which sounds good. However I'd be grateful for any comments or advice on where to stay. PS. I'm originally from Glasgow but married to an Italian and we live in Rome now. I've only recently heard about Barga and I'm really curious to visit it. than |

Click on the link below and it will show the calender of events in Barga for July. You will see that the festival begins on the 28th.

I clicked into the link but really what I'm trying to find out is the actual programme of events within the festa. ie pipe band or folklore exhibition, fireworks etc. _what we are trying to decide is if it is better to stay in Barga for nights 14th and 15th OR 15th and 16th of august. Thanks Irene
