Hi I'm flying in on Monday morning (3 July)from Beirut and I have all day to wait for my daughter on the Manchester flight arriving 9pm. We are in a hotel in Kyrenia (north) for the week. I want to spend the day relaxing by a pool near to Larnaca Airport - does anyone have any suggestions? Just a hotel with a pool / cold beer / food - not too far from the airport?

Hi,
The flamingo beach hotel is close to Larnaca airport. There is a roof top swimming pool plus the beach opposite. My sons flight there was a problem with tickets and the airline put him in this hotel. You can book on line. Michael

Thanks Michael - they let me dump off my luggage / sleep on the beach on a sun bed / shower and use the pool for a fiver (5 CYP) !! The taxi from the airport was the same price! Nice people (staff) in the hotel. Thanks for your help. KC
