A friend of mine is looking for maps and hints for good biking and hiking possibilities around Cadiz. Do you know any map, book or internet page for suggestions, please let me know! Thank you very much in advance! Christian. |

Check out these www sites maybe they are useful:
In english: http://www.andalucia.com/rural/walking/walking.htm Not really in english, but has details of all the natural parks in andalucia: http://www.juntadeandalucia.es/medioambiente/site/web/ The Bahia de Cadiz Natural Park has recently had a fair amount of work done to improve bike paths etc. Its pretty flat, but with a high biodiversity (particularily for birds). Most of the coast has good paths for walking/biking, although generally everything is still a bit 'car orientated'. The area around Arcos de la frontera is hilly, has some good walking and is pretty beautiful. Good luck.
