Budva accomodation in or around Budva
Posted: Sun June 25, 2006 04:32 PM UTC
We are a family of three and are looking for accommodation on the Montenegro Riviera. We need to travel around July 21 and want to stay for two weeks. Any advice? We would like something not very expensive, but comfortable, with a sea view, two bedrooms or studio apartment, and close to a nice sandy beach, if that's not asking for too much ;-0.

Re Hotel mediteran becici

Visited on 18th - 25th June 2006

This hotel is dreadful, it is a virtual building site with most of the advertised facilities unavailable
The staff are rude and unhelpful, there is no manager to complain to , and if you damage anything, the cost is extortionate.
I have travelled extensively around the world and I can honestly say that this is the worst hotel I have ever visited
Avoid

Thanks for the warning! I'm sorry you had such a bad experience on your holidays. I was thinking more of an apartment, self-catering, rather than a hotel.

Buna Gabi.

Salutari!
Irina

I shared a similar experience - the Hotel Mediterran was a complete builing site with works starting in the morning - around 6am and continuing to 12 midnight. Again as Halkyn has stated there were no facilities at all; Bar closed at 10pm, no waterpark, no beach front pizzeria, the list goes on. Nevermind no air con in the rooms, no swimming pools, broken beach furniture and lets not forget the 4 wild dogs on the hotel's beach constantly fighting. More amazingly though there was no-one to complain to, the 'Chief' was always just out. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, maybe try next year when it will complete and the staff have learned how to deal with customers.
