We've had luck in the Caribbean before w/reasonably priced lobster dinners that tasted fantastic. Are there a couple "must" seafood restaurants in Barbados? We love lobster, shrimp, scallops & conch! :)
Any great restaurants near the southern area, as this is where we're staying? Thanks, Dawn |

Lobster Alive, just next to the boatyard in Bridgetown, I wanted to go there but it was closed as it wasn't in lobster season, saying that I'm sure Pices does great lobster too.

Part of the problem in Barbados is that we don't have rivers.. which is what you need for really good shellfish like shrimp particularly.. We have Lobster, but not like in Maine.. and yes Lobster Alive might be the best place. I don't order it because you end up paying about anywhere from about 35-45usd for a lobster dinner here..

And that's pretty comparable to a lobster dinner here, actually it may be a $10 or so less than some seafood places in my area. I think we'll try Lobster Alive one night, hopefully, they'll be open in November!
