| Valladolid | valladolid airport Posted: Thu June 22, 2006 12:51 PM UTC
HI ,
I'm flying into Valladolid airport - what's the quickest way to get to Leon from there? Should I get a bus to the city centre and then a train? How long would this take? Thanks Hugh |

Yes, and it takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to Leon from Valladolid-Campo Grande station, depending on which type of train it is. Most trains are direct but for some you would change in Palencia.
If you arrive at a time when there are no buses there is a fixed fee for taxis to the city centre, I think it is something like 14 EUR.

| Valladolid | RE: valladolid airport Posted: Fri June 23, 2006 12:07 PM UTC Hi, An interesting web with means of transport in Valladolid airport is http://www.aena.es/csee/Satellite?cid=104878206977 As the previous web says, there are direct buses from Valladolid airport to Leon with Alsa Company, but the bus ONLY stops at the airport if you have previously booked a ticket. Go to http://www.alsa.es/portal/index.asp?lang=en , click in "Routes and times" and then select "Airport Services" radio button in order to see the timetables. Another option from Valladolid airport is taking the bus that leads you to Valladolid Bus Station . Once in the bus station, you have to options to go to Leon: - taking a bus with Alsa company: http://www.alsa.es/portal/index.asp?lang=en - go walking to the train station (5 minutes walking) and then take a train: www.renfe.es Both options more or less means 1 and a half or 2 hours Fernando
