Could someone tell me what's the weather like in last week of August and the first of September?

What places are best for a vacation for a family with small children? We would like to have a classical summer vacation (sunbathing, etc).

the weather is very hot in this time. perfect for the beach!!
for you , I would say, try Calheta. sandbeach, and a nice hotel too.
near you have a supermercado, bank, and some shops and restaurants....
you will be in max. half an hour in Funchal (with car).
it's quiet and sunny....
