Kruger National Park Travel Forum

has anyone stayed here ? I understand it is close to the Kruger Park, Id like to know if the chances of seeing the big 5 are as good as in the Kruger

It is A LOT smaller than Kruger, so I would say that there is more chance, yes. For you Berns, I would recommend a smaller park than Kruger, less driving to do, facilities a lot closer etc.

I am also about to book to stay her in late July, early August. I am concerne that there is not much info on the wildlife that you are likely to see on the game drives or whilst based at the lodge. Everyone seems to say Kruger is the best. Are we limiting ourselves by staying here?
Has anyone elso stayed at this lodge and can pass on some more info?

I have never stayed here, but have at many others, of all different types, in South Africa.

Kruger is undoubtedly the favourite park of all, it is so much larger etc.

But the parks like these are also top class. Your chances of seeing alot of wildlife are very good, especially if you go on a night tour, as the rangers know where the animals are.
