| Buffalo | Restaurant Near Airport????? Posted: Tue June 20, 2006 12:40 AM UTC
I used to travel to Buffalo on business quite frequently a number of years ago, there was a restaurant on the same road the airport is on. The restaurant was I believe west of the airport. It had dozens of signs in the parking lot. They sold, wings, pizza, beef on a weck, loganberry drink, fried balonga sandwiches, etc, etc, etc. As I recall the name of the place was "JIMBOS"????
Was that the name? It is still in business? If so is there an internet site or listing for it? If not, when did it close? What is it now? Thank you! |

No, that restaurant closed a few years ago. I used to love that place!! They sold HUGE ice cream cones!! I don't remember what the name of it was. Now there is just a regular diner-type restaurant there called the Olympic Restaurant.

It was called Beef and Sirloin.
Grew up not far from there. And Yes, their ice cream cones were hugh, even the "baby" size.
