I'll take ferry from Greece to Brindisi and heading to Salerno by train.The ferry will arrive at Brindisi at 8:00am,and the train leave from railway station for Salerno at 8:55am,how far from the port to the railway station.Can I catch the train after buying the ticket.Thanks very much.

There's a shuttle bus every 20 minutes that runs on a loop between the railway station and the port (maritime station) and back to the railway station, see http://www.stpbrindisi.it/Tabelle/OrarioUrbano/LINEA%20Stazione.htm. I think it takes about 15 minutes but of course it stops everywhere and traffic could be heavy at that time in the morning. You may be able to catch the bus that leaves the railway station at 08.00 and stops at Piazza V. Emanuele (Stazione Marittima stop) 8 stops later, returning on a loop to the railway station (F.S.); certainly the one that starts from the station at 8.20 would be cutting it awfully fine. You may have to weigh up the cost of taking a taxi compared with the cost of paying a fine for buying your ticket on the train. If you do manage to get to the station in time to buy your ticket, don't forget to stamp it in the machine on the platform before you get on the train! Good luck.
