Could you please tell me the best way to travel between Athens and Izmir?
Is there any ferry going from Athens to Izmir or other way around with a good deal with safety? |

If you want to go by ferry, you can catch a Greel ferry from Athens/Piraeus to Chios, then a Turkish ferry from Chios to Cesme. Once in Cesme you can take a bus to Izmir.

fly from Athens to Samos island (nearest island to Izmir) take ferry from Samos to Chesme (Izmir, Turkey). This is the cheapest and fastest way, about 2/3 hours, if you make good timings.
