Ilha Terceira Travel Forum

I would like to go to Azory this summer. I'm just planing my journey. I try to find any ferry or boat from mainland (Lisbon?) to one of the Azory Islands. Mybe some of you know when I can find the information about that if this kind of connection is availabe. Is any sea agency is dealing with this? Or I have to go be plane? I prefer boat or ferry....

hey... i don't know if any sea agencies travel to Azores, because it's far out. Azores islands are quite in the middle of the ocean!!!

No, there aren't any ferries or boats doing regular trips from mainland Portugal to the Azores. The Azores are 2,000 miles away from mainland Portugal so your best bet is to fly TAP http://www.flytap.com/Portugal/en/Homepage/ or SATA as someone mentioned earlier.
Unless you pick your days carefully a roundtrip flight can go as high as 500 euros pp. So play with the dates and you can go from Lisbon to Sao Miguel or Terceira for approx. 258 euros pp.
