How would one travel from Varenna to Lugano using public transportation? Interested in a night at the casino.

Varenna (via Bellagio) to Menaggio on the Lake Como ferries. From Menaggio to Lugano there is a bus (?C12). However this is unlikely to allow you to return late at night after an evening in Lugano and you will probably have to stay over.
