Podgorica Travel Forum

Hello,
I'm planning to travel from Thessaloniki, Greece to Podgorica. Is there a bus from Nis to Podgorica? This way, I will be able to get off the train at Nis and get the bus, instead of going to Beograd, and get to Podgorica from there. If there is a bus, does anyone know the exact route of it and how long does the journey last? Thank you in advance,

Hi. i'm not the qualified one to tell you but i've been wondering about going the opposite way and i've been told that between podgorica and thessaliniki, you must transfer in either skopje or pristina. on the map that looks better than going all the way to belgrade. only problim is i think there arent many trains doing this route! i'm gonna find a bus or a rideshare...

yes, you can go first to Tirana or Skopje and from there to Thessaloniki. Another way i have found, is going to Podgorica, taking the bus to Nis (4 buses a day) and from there getting on the Belgrade-Thessaloniki train (2 trains every day). I don't know how much it costs but i think it's a good alternative. Cheers!
