Jayapura - Wamena flight?

Hello everyone

Want to go to Jayapura but as far as I can see there is no flight to Wamena from Jayapura where finally I want to reach to the Bailem valley. Anyone have any idea please? Or any other way to reach there rather than flying?

Of course there are flights - they are pretty much the only way of getting up there. Don't expect to be able to book them before getting to Jayapura though - no need either...

Should be around 1 million RT, but I dunno the exact fare.
I think Trigana is the company flying these days - just ask in Jayapura.

trigana air operates jayapura-wamena flight, daily 6.30 am, 9.00 am, 11.30 am, for IDR 494,000/one way. it takes 40 min. u may contact "trigana air" in jakarta, phone # 021-8604867, 021-8604868,021-8604869

Dear Emrah, my brother is pilot for Trigana air
He usually fly between Sentani-Wamena
In Irian mostly forrest & no road
So, the only transportation is flight
