| Anchorage | 7 Glaciers Restaurant Posted: Wed June 14, 2006 01:19 PM UTC
Has anyone ever eaten at 7 Glaciers Restaurant? I know it is expencive but I was wonering about the views while eating and also on the tram ride there. We will be celebrating our 30 yr. anniversay and wanted to find a beautiful place for dinner. Any other suggestions?

The views are incredible, the food is good. If the view is your priority, Seven Glaciers s a great choice.

Have eaten dinner there four times. Twice the food was excellent and twice only so-so. The view is very nice.
For good view and good food perhaps the Crow's Nest at the Captain Cook? Or Simon & Seaforts?

i just got back from our trip, and we did hit the 7 glaciers (as well as stay 2 nights at the Alyeska Prince). The food was really good, although not "head and shoulders" above some of the other great restaurants we went to in Alaska (nothing comes close to the Double Musky!). You're obviously paying for the view, but for tourists like us it was definately worthwhile.

Double Musky is in Girdwood, about 45 minutes south of Anchorage.
Consistently voted top restaurant in Alaska and winner of some national awards as well.
