Hey, I am going to HK in July and to Lamma Island doing that trip. I was hoping to rent a 2 person room there for 5 - 8 days with a kitchen, but I have a hard time finding a place. If anyone could give me an Internet address or something like that, it would be a great help. Tnx... :-)

hi, i went to lamma island last year, but as far as I remember I did not see any hotel or accomodation in that place though while trekking through the mountains, I saw a direction leading to an international hostel on top of the mountain . I promise myself to return there again and will stay in that hostel.Maybe, you can email directly for informations to the hongkong tourism board.Please update me if u have info.thanks

Lamma Island is basically inhabited by more foreigners than locals. It's the notorious island for people who want to live in HK on a low budget. When you arrive at Yung Shue Wan there will be dozens of apartment advertisings on the wall leading from the ferry terminal to the village.

For tourists, there are a couple of hostels but also homestay possibilities. However, it's not that easy to find in the internet.
You might want to have a look at the following website:

This place is quite decent... but not that cheap though.
