Hi
I am planing to travel from Shanghai to Lhasa in January and, if possible, continue to Kathmandu. Does anybody have any information if the bus service is running at this time of year, if passes are usually open, or what other possible routes and modes of travel exist? thanks for your reply. I have found out that at least the public bus service is suspended during the winter month, but I was wondering if you know weather a passage from Lhasa to Kathmandu and further travel into India is possible at all during January, or if all roads will be blocked.
