what's IN the box versus what's ON the box Posted: Thu June 8, 2006 05:46 AM UTC
Here's a box showing a picture of tuna fish. The box contains tuna salad. Here's a box with a picture of strawberry and there's strawberry jam inside. On that box we can see milk and there's milk in in.
But what about a box with a picture of a dog? Is there dog meat in it? No!!! Let's read the ingredients: duck meat etc.
IMHO that's unfair.

Good point. Take Kellogg's Corn Flakes for example, what part does the rooster play?

Don't tell me they're made of cat. That would turn my theory into rubble.

That was what the phew! was for - your theory stands strong.

Does that mean that the producers of cans with a cat picture are trying to cheat on us?

Now if it had a picture of a duck on it then maybe you might have taken it home and made duck soup out of it. Then your poor dog would have gone hungry.....but then again maybe your dog doesn't like ducking dog food.

I heard that it can't actually be guaranteed that there isn't dog in dog food. There's certainly ash in cat food, but a picture of a dead bonfire isn't going to make me buy that brand ;)
