can anyone tell me which is best to take Engilsh pounds or us dollers.
I have been told that you get 2 bb dollers to the us dollers on the street.is this ture.

Not sure about Cuba but we were recently in Mexico and they usually display prices in both US dollars and Pesos, although I've heard that it's slightly cheaper if you pay in the local currency (didn't find much difference really).
I would guess that its similar in Cuba??

The exchange rate is tied directly to the $USD at a little less than 1=2. We were just there and the rate at the hotel and on any credit card charges was $1 USD = $1.95 BND.

You get 2 Barbados dollars to 1 US dollars on the street and in the supermarket or hotels $1 USD = $1.95

You can pay everywhere in US – so I would recommend US$

Everybody you deal with knows the math and quickly gives you the amount in either dollar. Make sure you pay attention to the prices on anything you purchase. Some times it is shown in USD and some times in BDN. We had some friends who avoided staying at the same hotel we did because they thought it was to expensive. It wasn't until later they realized the price on the www site was 1/2 that amount in USD.
