Toledo Travel Forum

I'll be spending the upcoming semester studying in Toledo, and I'm interested in learning whatever I can about the area before I go. What should I expect, be sure to see etc. And (sorry if I am asking you guys to stereotype) what are Spanish people like compared to people from US? I would appreciate any replies, thanks!

Hi, and welcome to Spain whenever U come!
Toledo is a wonderful old city and you will enjoy it a lot :-) It's really well preserved and walking by its streets you really go back in time.
From there you can do many daytrips: the most obvious is Madrid, where you will have to come sveral times to enjoy it properly. Segovia is another interesting trip, as well as Aranjuez, Avila...
If you'd like to know some spanish VT members, keep looking at the Madrid Forum, as we do frequent meetings.
