Berchtesgaden	Hostel - Guesthouse for June 9-11? Posted: Tue June 6, 2006 06:55 PM UTC I'm a student wanting to visit Berchtesgaden - would be arriving by train from Munich June 9th around 8 pm and leaving around 3 pm on Sunday the 11th for Stuttgart. I've done muliple searches for a place to stay. Does anyone know of a place to stay that might be along the train route? I want to visit the Salt mine and the Eagle's Nest but can't seem to find affordable accomadations that I can get to with public transport. I wondered if there were rooms available in town that might not be on the net? Does anyone know about the avail. transport outside the center city for 8 pm on a Friday? Since you're going there the day after tomorrow and haven't found a place to stay yet,call the tourist information in Berchtesgaden. Don't send them an e-mail, but talk to them on the phone and explain your problems.Hopefully they'll be able to help you.
