Waikiki Travel Forum

Hey guys, my family and I are having a holiday in waikiki in September and I have been reading about all the different hotels on waikiki beach and it's to choose one as there are just so many that all seem to be offering the same. We're looking for a hotel in the center of waikiki, that accomadates for families, could you please suggest any impressive hotels at a fair price that you have experienced. Thanks so much.

There are 9 hotels on the beach, I think I counted right, The Hilton would probably be your best bet for families but it is not right in the heart. The Sheraton Waikiki might work for being in the heart.

Hilton Hawaiian Village would be good and also the Waikiki Parc we liked a lot.

I've stayed at two of the Outrigger hotels (Outrigger on the Beach and Outrigger Reef) and was very happy at both and would definitely go back. Outrigger Reef has a kids program on site but people who stay at "The Beach" can take advantage too. If you book early, you're more likely to get a fair price. We booked about 8 months in advance and I noticed that the price of the same type of room that we booked nearly doubled as we got close to our travel date.

A hotel that I really like is the Pacific Beach Hotel. It's right across Waikiki Beach in what I consider the center of Waikiki. The accomodations are nice and it's family friendly. I have a coupon that I won't be able to use so If you would like more info, just let me know!
