Dear friends. I have very sad news to relate to you all. Our dear friend Lesley (Purpleshade)'s husband Jethro has passed away. This is very hard to relay because I'm in tears and shock right now. But if you can understand our dear Lesley must be feeling pretty devistated and is not able to talk much and has asked me to convey her very sad news to her lovely friends. Lesley, please accept our deepest regrets. We love you....

Please pass on my condolences Anne. I had the pleasure of meeting Lesley and Jethro a couple of times whilst in Perth. I loved Jethro's broad accent and down to earth manner, a true gent also as he was constantly offering to buy drinks regardless of who's round it was!

My thoughts and wishes, as with the other VTers, are with you and your family. We are with you in spirit and know that there is always someone here in VT whenever you need a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen/eye to read. Remember the smiles and happy times with Jethro, and don't waste your time on the what ifs or if onlys. Take care my dear, and as was mentioned, your thoughtfulness in letting us know is so appreciated.
