Which route is suitable for traveling to deosai either from Astor or from Skardu and also tell, which vehicle is suitable. If we travel on Toyota 4x4 Double cabin what is your sugession and also tell about camping and lugage & clothes.

Good Day,
the best way to make it from Astore, but with a very good 4 by 4 car where ever you're in the northern part of Pakistan due to the steep roads and high altitude. It's more scenic from Astore and Rama lake. Bon Voyage, Imran Schah http://risingpakistan.blog.co.uk/

Hello there
Your 4x4 seems to be a bit heavy to me as there is suspension brigde in Deosai which may not hold the weight of your vehicle. AS you will be with luggage, may be a smaller willy's jeep will suite you. Any route you follow Islamabad - Skardu - Deosai Islamabad - Deosai - Skardu Won't be much of a difference. You will enjoy. Make sure you take fishing equipments for fishing. And please be careful not to throw trash anywhere when you are in northern areas. As you know these are very delicate places. Take care
