Does anybody have the correct telephone number for the Casa De Arena Hostel? I have been trying to book us a room for our stay but having trouble finding their correct phone number or email. The phone#/emails I found for them on the web don't work.

Anybody who has recently stayed there might help me out with their contact information. Or even any information on how to book a room in advance would help too.

Sorry, forgot to include the location. It is in Huacachina, Peru.

Is Casa de Arena in Huacachina, the oasis near to Ica? If it is, it's highly unlikely you need to book a place there.

Yes, it is indeed in Huacachina (town with sanddunes and oasis) which is near Ica. In that case, I'll take your word and hope to find some room upon arrival.

You should have no problems but it does not hurt to book ahead.

Casa de Arena is not overlooking the Oasis itself, it's just behind (there are other places, directly looking at the oasis). It's also well known to be more a party hotel than a sleeping hotel.

I'll check my guide book and my notes from last year and if I find the number/email I'll let you know.

If Casa de Arenas is the one described by adelinemmc, then I think it's the one I stayed in and is definitely a party place! Had some great nights there on my visits to Huacachina. They allow you to camp there as well, so if you have a tent, bring it along!

Yeah, I tried both emails and those 2 phone numbers but no luck. The emails came back as undeliverable and the calls don't go through.

That is why I wanted to check if somebody who has stayed there had any information from their bill, etc.

It seems the problem is with the area code provided on the web for casa de arena. I tried with the area code "56" instead of "34" and I was able to contact them. So, here is the number for future reference.

This place is terrible. Do not stay unless you want bed bugs and to share with cockroaches. We got food poisoning and diarrhoea from the owners filthy bbq. The place is disgusting, just to warn all out there!
