I am looking at going to Dortmund for the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Monday June 12. I am haveing trouble finding a place to stay and was wondering if there was enough to see there for 3 days or if I should just cut my trip a little short. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Dortmund is one of the Football World Cup venue cities.
http://www.dortmund.de/ Dortmund is part of the Ruhr Area, the biggest conurbation in Germany with nearly 6 million inhabitants. Just see it as one very big city. Would you limit your visit there to only one "district"?
