Nightlife in Calabria is fairly non-existent. Most of the larger hotels provide entertainment during the summer. The nightlife in Tropea is limited to bars and restaurants. Tropea however, is a very beautiful place, very old with quaint narrow cobbled streets and a fairly lively main square lined with cafes and restaurants. There is a magnificent beach and a large market on Saturday mornings. The whole area of Capo Vaticano is full of long sandy beaches, breathtaking scenery and friendly people.
