I am planning a week long stay in Buffalo around attending an N.F.L game. How hard is it to get Bills tickets and how long before the game,week 7 oct 22, do they go on sale.

As for how hard it is to get tickets, it all depends on the game. The home opener usually sells out pretty quickly, also the games against the teams in our division: Patriots, Dolphins, Jets. Have fun, it'll be a great time!
