Can anyone tell me how far Poznan is to Krakow by car and how safe is driving? Thanks Pam |

It took me 6 hrs by train. It'll prob around there traffic permitting :)

Hi Pam
According to the Michelin website it is:- Distance: 445km including 233km on motorways Time: 06h34 including 02h36 on motorways The motorways are toll roads for which you will have to pay a small fee. The driving standard is poor in Poland with one of the worse accident records in Europe, mainly caused by poor observation, excess speed, failure to obey traffic signs etc. The way of staying out of trouble is to keep your speed down and your concentration up. Having said that I've driven there a number of times without any problems. Happy motoring
