Hi, I am planning to visit Komodo and Rinca Islands in August via Bali and I appreciate if you could let me know the following information:-

a) I am thinking of flying from Denpasar to Labuanbajo and then get a tour package to visit these islands. Is it easy to find a tour package in Labuanbajo which offered visit to both Komodo and Rinca Islands?

b) I am also thinking of booking a tour package from internet instead of looking for one in Labuanbajo. However, the price quoted in the internet seems to be at the high side. Any idea how much it costs if I get a tour package in Labuanbajo?

c) How many days are enough to visit Komodo and Rinca?

d) Any nice and clean budget hotels to stay in Labuanbajo? Please recommend.

It's easy to find a tour package in Labuanbajo. There are a lot of tour counters a long the main street, even when you arrive at the airport many people will over you a package tour or boat charter to Komodo and Rinca.

Price is much cheaper then a package tour from Internet of Travel Agent in Bali, you can get less the US$ 100. If you decide to book a tour package in Labuanbajo, make sure that they will use good and big boat with toilet, radio navigation, life jackets, and mattress.
Check carefully What are included in Price? Especially, the entrance fees to Komodo National Park which cost US$ 15 – 20 per person.
As you will visit Komodo and Rinca Island, make sure that they do understand you will visit those booth Islands.
I think 4 days is enough to cover booth Rinca and Komodo.

'Wisata' hotel is a nice budget hotel (price: around 50.000 rupiah), but they don’t have ac room, all room with fan, but with inside bathroom. (Special note: get ready with your own towels, soup, toilet paper, etc,)
