We are travelling with another couple and want to spend about a week in Guanajuato. We'd like something fairly nice - about $1000/week for a two bedroom with kitchen - any suggestions? I can find lots of information for San Miguel but nothing for Guanajuato

Hello!
I have been a coule of time in Guanajuato. There are some nice Hotels right in Downtown but and I can recommend a Hotel very well situated in downtown. Its not luxurious and quite simple but very clean and safe. (And a good deal). Look on BedAndBreakfast.com or vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owners) for a large selection of possible accommodations that are outside the normal hotel scene.
