After spending a few nights in the Julian Alps, my boyfriend and I are travelling to Venice. What is the easiest way to get there? Train from Trieste, Novo Gorica or Gorizia?

There is direct train connection from Trieste.

Take bus from Bohinj to Ljubljana, bus or train to Trieste, then train to Venezia, Sn Lucia. Trains leave to Sn Lucia on average of every 30 minutes. Try to spend a little time in Trieste and /or Aquilea. They are fascinating.
