I had a very good experience with Fun Car. The web site listed on their brochure is www.funcar-rental.com but it no longer seems to be valid.

Any advice for driving on Naxos, besides the usual be careful? What should I make a point of seeing? Only want the car for one day.

The roads on Naxos are fine. Not terrific, but nothing frightening. Have a look on my Naxos travel pages for a list of places to see. Basically you can just make a circle starting at the main town and returning there. It's a great way to spend a day. Be sure to stop in Filoti for a nice relaxing snack or meal at one of the tavernas under the huge plane tree that you cannot miss when you drive into town.
