Hello Ides,

I am also living in Ankara and would like to help you to find an appartment. But, before that I have to know for what kind of an appartment you are exactly looking for? What is the limit of your budget?

I think that you should rent a place close to the city centre, because TOMER is in Kizilay which is basically the shopping and bussiness centre of Ankara. My advice to you is to rent an appartment around Tunali Caddesi, a popular shopping area that is 10-15 minutes walk away from Tomer and there are al lot of Pubs and Cafes where young people are hanging out. I think it is a little bit more pricey than the suburbs of Ankara, but when you rent a flat in this area you will not have to spend extra money or time for transportation to the centre of the city.

so that's it for now. If you have any other questions feel free to post them.

Ferhat

Dear Ides,

sorry for the late response. I was on vacation, had a nice 3 days in the south of Turkey.

As for Cebeci, I would say it is relatively close to TOMER. I can say that Cebeci is in the walking distance of Tomer. Iknow it as I studied at the Ankara University, which has a its campus in Cebeci and I walked a lot when I was a student from Cebeci to Kizilay.
Secondly, there are a lot of students living in that environment and you have the Metro in Cebeci which has reasonably good connections to the other parts of the city.

So I think that you should consider it. Cantact me any other help.
