If anyone has any questions about the Huatulco area, I will be glad to help. I have been there a few times and really like the area. I have also been to several other resorts in Mexico, the Domincan Republic and Carribean Islands so fel free to ask. thanks, Wille

I am heading there this wkd and was wondering if it is best to rent a car, or take a taxi. Also, have you benture to Oaxaca to see ruins. I was wondering if that drive is too long/hard, etc. I don't speak much spanish either, is that too much of an issue?

Yes, what is the best place to stay not too big and best place to dive and is it safe considering it is so close to Oaxaca?

Hi Willie. My parents frequently travel to Mexico and are lookin at trying some where they haven't been before, possily Santa Cruz Huatulco. My Dad only has 1 leg now due to surgery last year and just wondering if the town is within walkin distance, or any markets or shoppin nearby? Neither of them drive so it must be accessible by walking or a short cab ride....they're not ones to just lay around on the resort for 2 weeks, and just would like to know what's close by....

Thanks!

Elaine
