| San José | walking tour san jose Posted: Thu May 18, 2006 04:19 AM UTC
Hello,
Im planning to visit costa rica for 10 days in august. Was keeping my base as San jose. Any idea how long it would take to do a walking tour of the city, covering the main sights? Thanks P |

I'd say 2 days, now it depends when you come down. If you come during the rainy season you may have to do half day walks making it last a little longer, 10 days is more than enough for just San Jose.

I think 2-3 days is more than enough to see the city since the area worthy of seeing is really small. The pedestrian mall and area adjacent, perhaps go to Pueblo and Pueblo Antiguo and some good restaurant outing at Ram Luna and you are done with SJ. Use the rest of the time elsewhere like Arenal, Guanacaste area etc.
