Think twice if you want to fly out from Kathmandu, Nepal to Varanasi,India by Cosmic Air.The airline could cancel their flight immediately without the notice, if the airline doesn't have enough passengers.

I was thinking about the other direction - but I was told there is no connection at the moment....is that true?

It should be true, if they said so. They won't take off if they don't have enough passengers than you will be strange at the airport. It was happened to us at Kathmandu Airport. We have to managed ourself to New Delhi with another airline instead of flying to Varanasi.
