I'm thinking of running away down to Mexico at the end of May. Anybody know of any guest ranches or stables where a lonely anti-social Gringa can ride And sleep and explore too?

Hello, I'm not aware of any in particular but there are several, you should just ask at your hotel as there are cross-country horseback rides or even city rides.
If you need anything, let me know, I'm at 45 minutes from San Miguel and would be glad to help. Enjoy.

Try them. They rent houses and have a lovely ranch. Nice people.
