There are 4 daily buses from Malaga

hi, dont know if this answer is to late but haveing lived in mijas pueblo for a few years and still rent long term carihuela,when i can,i always get the train from the airport to torremolinos, or benalmadena there you can get the bus to mijas.it stops off at all parts and pueblos,even if you get a taxi from the above mentioned it doesnt cost as much as from the airport, the train station is just over the walk bridge at the airport, and cost something like one euro sixty cents, pay either in the machine, or on the train its self to the conductor.hope this is of some use...
