I hope this reply is not too late. I stayed at Bazaruto Lodge 2 years ago and we all (husband and 7 year daughter as well) enjoyed our stay immensely. The food is great, the snorkeling and diving are out of this world, and it is far from madding crowd. Of note, if you are looking for a destination or lodge with lots of action this is not the place to go, there are only 2 resorts on the island and the total number of combined guests does not exceed 100.
