Santa Barbara haley cottages

hi i am coming to sb for the usmmer we have been offered accommodation in haley cottages
could someone please give me an unbiased opinion of this place and what it it is like, is it a safe area etc, it is located on haley street.
any info would be greatly appreciated

I have never stayed there, but there are some sketchy reviews on TripAdvisor:

You're really getting what you pay for. It's not the greatest area... but to be honest, there aren't any REALLY BAD spots in SB. Plus, as far as proximity to good things... you can't beat it!

I wouldn't worry about it. But what do I know, I've never stayed there. I live in SB!
